I eat apples and pears
Speak in a quiet loud voice
A train snakes through the window
Will I rise from this bed
Night bathes me in its colors

Words Will Find a Way

Why does the wind feel like rain
I am done with poems
The pain is my friend
Take my ticket, fly to Spain
Lorca, the man, the moon

Limbo

There are so many of you
I need my space
Every day the sky falls on my head
The doctors say I’m already dead
Surprised by all the voices

The Rules Have Changed

Five lines + a title
remind me
I am no longer young
Words burn brighter briefly
in the dark.
